Miss Krisztina Csikós  was born in Subotica in 1980. She finished elementary and secondary Music School at the department of music theory and tamburitza (a national folk instrument) in her birth place. She played tamburitza in Subotica Tamburitza orchestra.

In the period of 1999 to 2004, Miss Csikós was a student of the University of Science and Art in Pécs, Hungary. She chose singing and music and vocal technics in the class of Ms Mária Veres Kimpf and Ms Dr Tünde Bogár Kiss. At the same time, she studied conducting in the class of renowned conductor, a Franc Liszt prize winner, Mr Aurél Tillai, and lecturers Mr István Várdai and Mr Dr Tamás Lakner who was also her mentor in her diploma examination in February 2004.

Parallel to her studies, she attended the Art College in Pécs, studying solfeggio and music theory and concluded her studies by writing a diploma work, a textbook for music school students: “Outlines of knowledge of music instruments” in June 2004.

Since 2004 she has been a teacher of Solfeggio and Music theory, as well as the conductor of the students` choir, in the Secondary Music School in Subotica. She has also become the assistant conductor of Pro musica.
